Osiris_x11 10-06-2008, 08:40 PM Cool...Any of those a particular stand out? Thanks for sharing. If you got time to do background on a desired deal (looking for a washer/dryer, a new LCD HDTV, best cell' phone plans, or even a deal on a car), then Slickdeals & Fatwallet are a cut above the rest.
If you want to see the best deals going on currently, in terms of real-time & updates throughout the day, then Bensbargains has a lot of stuff of interest.
It all depends on what you generally like, as some of the sites are more for DIY'ers w/ tools/materials/project stuff, other sites are more for the tech'/IT/gadget types, some are more for the fashion/trendy peeps', and other sites are more for the home-maker/housewifey's (ie. food/groceries/appliances/household-stuff). When you have the time, peruse the sites & find what the ones you like and check them daily. It becomes habitual after a while.
I used to check dailytool & spoofee regularly years ago, but they no longer are of my tastes/preferences... if that makes sense!
Bowzer 10-07-2008, 09:32 AM Nice bit of info...will have to run through the links as I have time. Preesh the efforts!
KunalPatel87 10-07-2008, 09:38 AM Thread bookmarked. :D

daavo 10-07-2008, 11:02 AM Bookmarked. Thanks for posting this Osiris!
stevencrosbie 10-07-2008, 04:24 PM How about Woot.com?
They only sell one item a day...but sometimes it is a steal?
Thanks for the heads up on the other sites. If / when I decide to do my part in stimulating the economy :D, I'll look there.
nighthawkcoupe 10-07-2008, 04:32 PM Take advantage of this while it lasts
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=harmon+kardon+ipod&x=0&y=0
22 bucks for a Harmon Kardon ipod interface/display/remote/charger!
They're getting rid of this because the new one just dropped at 400 bucks.

Osiris_x11 10-07-2008, 06:44 PM How about Woot.com?
Gosh darnit... you kinda/sorta beat me to it! I was gonna make another thread w/ all my bookmarks for the one-deal-per-day sites. So keep an eye out for it! :D
You're totally right about woot, my friend! I've gotten a wireless-router, micro-mp3 player (SD-slot), (2) 2-way wrist-watch FRS/GMRS radios, memory-cards (SD, xD, Flash, Memory-Stick), 4GB pocket mp3/video player, USB memory-stick, and some-other 'bits from the the occasional wootoff; though I've never gotten the B.O.C. (Bag o' Crap).theblackfriday.com
Thanks for that. I need to score a decent home-theater/surround-sound setup or a 5:1/7:1 receiver & speaker-set this year, so I've been waiting-&-waiting. . .

I got the B.O.C. once. And you know what was in it? Crap. An eagle mouse pad, a little kid's red backpack, Casper the Friendly Ghost earrings, and something else so crappy I can't remember what it was. My coworker got a B.O.C. that had one of those giant button TV remotes, a generic universal remote, and a DirecTV remote. He brought it to work sealed so he could rub it in our face. We opened it up and I could not stop laughing. It's worth it just for the laughs.
I also bought the B.O.C. (bandolier of carrots) shirt. I don't know why, I knew I would never wear it, and it went from shirt.woot bag to laundry to closet and has never been worn.
EDIT: The funniest part of the remote B.O.C. was he got it during a Woot Off. The same Woot Off in which he bought 3 of each of the same remotes to try to speed up going to the next item. :lmao:
Boba Fett 07-30-2009, 03:17 PM I'm a fan of http://www.retailmenot.com
Good site to search for coupon or discount codes for a particular site you're buying something from.
GuidoCoupeV6 08-27-2009, 11:58 AM I second the above mentioned site! Good for at least 20% in some instances on a wide variety of things! Just got a nice pair of Nike shox discounted using retailmenot the other day! 114 down to 79!

Will add to the original post!
GuidoCoupeV6 08-28-2009, 06:44 PM Why not also add http://www.shopittome.com/
While its not a deal site per say it is a deal email sent to you on a daily/weekly basis based on your preference/style of clothes! Just check off all the brands you like from shoes, to wallets, jeans to sweaters etc.. and you will get those brands sent to you in a nice compact email when they go on sale and from what site!
Its like having a personal shopper target stores when the stuff you like goes on sale and tell you about it!
starbai 09-04-2009, 06:33 AM I agree... slickdeals is a daily site for me.

leeleee 09-18-2009, 08:14 PM dailysteals.com is like woot.com. My favorites are slickdeals and fatwallet.
