I am going to purchase winter tires and would like to mount them on my '04 Accord EX-L V6 6-Speed coupe 17'' wheels. I can't imagine there'd be any problems with that, but one other thing that concerns me is the load rating of these tires. The two tires I'm looking at, Michelin X-Ice Xi2 or Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60, both have a load rating of XL. When I add them to my cart on TireRack, I get the following warning:
The following tire you have selected has a higher load rating than the vehicle's Original Equipment (O.E.) tires. This typically results in increased ride harshness, which some customers may find undesirable.
Should this be a concern? I'll almost be exclusively driving in my flat prarie city.

I wouldn't worry about it, you aren't buying snow tires for the nice quiet ride anyway. As long as the load rating isn't lower than what the car came with you're fine. I cant believe they even have such a stupid warning.
