 Congrats, the wheels look great. More sporty and aggressive. Where did you get them? Notice any difference in ride quality, handling etc?

Congratulations! I feel wheels and tires are the number one thing you can do to a car that makes the biggest difference. I guess now your driving a Stealth Fighter. :D

yep big big big difference in handling, im just upset at the visual size of the wheels being so small...car has now gotta go lower..way lower.. :dunno:

handling is improve remarkably. tires are very very grippy, iw ould recommned them to everyone. they cheap too 110 shipped :-)

the rims are lightweight roja formula 5s. i got the correct tires on them 215.50/17s instead of the 45s. i just wish the avons were a little bit lighter. it would help all the much more.

rims should make a big difference...lighter rims and better tires will definitely give u better handling performance, and also better acceleration (less rotating mass), when i put my advan rg's on, the car just kept on pulling and pulling and pulling...(my other car, not the accord), once u slam it, if ur still not happy with the size of the tires, try getting wheel spacers...they push the wheel out more, and closer to the lip of the fender..making the rims look bigger..and also adding handling performance as well...make sure u don't go too hardcore with the spacers...10mm or less should do...anything over 10mm will give u a higher risk of snapping ur bolts..

oh and btw, u can pick up wheel spacers at mopac for 10 cdn a piece...

hmm..interesting point with the wheel spacers..right definately need to drop the car, just need to figure out if it should be 1" or 1.5" so as to ensure the wheel well and the wheel its self look made for each other.

personally when it comes to lowering now, i don't like to slam it until it looks good...i like to slam it so it's still driveable...i had my other car pretty low..i think i lowered it almost 2.5" and it was too low to drive, couldn't go over speed bumps, couldn't even get on my driveway...but if u had to choose between 1" and 1.5", i'd probably say 1.5"...looks lower = looks better...and if you have the right tire and rim sizes...ur tires should sit nicely tucked (just a tad) into the fender...and with wheel spacers to push the wheel out, it'll look fcuking insane!

 exactly, what im going to do is measure my gap all around the wheel, and basically drop it so that the top wheel gap (the gap at 90 degrees to the ground) is equal to the side gap (gap at 0 degrees to the ground)

ur rides gonna look insane...i'm still debating between coilovers or springs for my accord...but i definitely want to get the front lip first tho...and the sound system (in canada, we don't have navi, sucks balls)

Go with coilover if the cost is not an issue. You get adjustability.

i still haven't decided if i want to do coilovers or just springs....coilovers are definitely more expensive...and i don't need something so bumpy either...it's a daily driven car so definitely comfort>performance

if cost really isnt an issue for you this is what i suggest. i am also getting the same thing.

koni yellows for 525 shipped.

tein htechs for whatever price they are available.

combined with the camber kit and alignmentand install i believe i am looking at 1000 total.

benefits of this are 1) you get dampening adjustability with the koni yellows. and you get a million mile warranty on the new shocks as well

2) tein htechs are supposedly the best springs out there in terms of comfort

3) the koni yellow - htech combo should give me a 1.8 inch drop in the front and 1.1 in the rear.

www.bwimports.org for the koni groupbuy for only 525 shipped to your door.

i dunno about the dampeners yet, i'll seriously have to think that one over...i was thinking maybe just springs for now and when i'm sick of it, i'll change to coilovers..and i want rims too!! haha, man i'm spending way too much money on this car...(and i don't even drive it that often)
