I was on autoanything.com the other day and I decided to look up some accessories for my good ol' 08. I've been looking HID lights (projectors preferrably) for some time now and they actually ended up having a pair for $600. I even checked with the company anzousa after I saw that their catalog didnt have the 08 Hid lights and they said they had them but they haven't updated they're catalog yet. Has anyone ever purchased from them? They seem pretty legit...I hope they are because I got $600 burning a hole in my pocket right now!!!!

no way he paid $600 for Retrofits either. If he did, that retrofit is prolly gar-beige... itZ prolly projectors from like a daewoo or some sh*t :lmao:

.. On a serious note tho, i seriously hope you didn't spend $600 on HIDz or a Retro fit... :paranoid:

$600 for both projector and halo isn't such a bad deal, no?

Here is their link (No Picture, Sedan Only)

A pair of $100 headlamps with really crappy optics that you can aslo buy off eBay no doubt for about $200 shipped or less, plus they are not HID lamps nor do they come with an HID kit by the product description.
Why pay the extra $400??

So he buys those projectors and an HID kit from retro or XD .. about the same price as a TSX retrofit, no?

More to the point, the optics suck. Monitarily it may be close to a retrofit, but in terms of performance he may very well go backwards.

Lol...wow!!! Did not mean for it to get like this!!! To make things clear...I DID NOT BUY THE HIDS!!!! I was just asking what you guys think about it...I really want to get my headlights retrofitted. I'm willing to pay extra money for the OEM look, especially considering that I will be on of the few people in my area to have an 08 with retros on it...

FWIW, I paid $550+ for my after-market HID's many, many years ago...

The only solace in it was I was one of the first to get after-market HID's around, and the setup I got was the best-of-the-best (then and even now), and I haven't had a single issue/fault w/ it. Gotta love German stuff, ja... :D

Also, the picture of headlights on there looks like the lights for an 01-04 civic.

For which car?My NSX (it came w/ perhaps the best halogen-projectors I've ever seen... over-engineered, phenomenal optics, ideal cutoff-line, minimal color-change at lens-periphery)! Each headlight (2 glass-encased projectors in each) weighs ~20lbs'... :D
