I have 08 Coupe EX-L 4syli. I would like to have hid system. And I have been looking around for which one is best for me, but I couldn't get anything useful.

First question is, I want both my head light and fog light to be hid system, 8500k. So, do I need two HID Kit?

Second, as you guys know, head light has 2 bulbs each side, that means I need total 4 bulbs for only head lights?

Third, I want you guys to recomand me best HID kits for head light and fog light. Both of them is gonna be 8000~8500K.

You guys know how to change the licence plate bulb? I tried, but I couldn't
It wasn't departed...

First, you do know that there are 2 headlights on each side because one is low beam and the other is hi beam right? Since you have a coupe, the coupe already has projectors for the low beams so pnp kits work fine IMHO. the other bulb is for the high beams but if im not mistaken, i believe the high beams are a reflector type housing which means HID's are illegal to be put into those type of housings. but if you did want HID high beams then yes you would need an HID kit for the hi beams.. an HID kit for the low beams.. and a HID kit for the fog lights.. so you would need 3 pnp kits. someone correct me if im wrong lol

Sorry for the negative feedback, but do you realize how horrible 8000+k is going to look!? 99.999999% of the population can not tell the difference between an 8000k HID system and ricer bulbs on high beams. Seriously. Don't go above 6000k or they will look like dookie

Dont go above 6k. Hell, go with 5k. Dont do your highbeams either.

HID requires a bit of time to "warm up" and having them as high beams is pointless.

So I would better have 5000-6000k HID, and no highbeam but just low beam and fog light?...Actually I think I want a bit f blue colors...

Consequently, I need 2 HID Kits for low beam and fog light. Right?
Also, What is pnp kit, projector.... which type do i need to choose...

Personally I think that 5000k-6000k do look the best so I would go with that. And yes you would need two Plug and Play (PNP) kits. Look at retrosolutions and xenondepot. Both are active on this forum and most people seem happy with which ever one they choose.

6000-6500k will give you a bit of blue color. You shouldn't go above that or you won't have much usable light.

This coupe has 8000k, and and the owner and sonny said, what is warm up exactely?

only 8000k need to warm up, or anyother bulbs are also required?

all HID's require warm up time. It's the time from when the bulb powers on, to when it actually produces all of the light. Turning the bulb on and off lots of times before it fully warms up can damage it and lessen the lifespan.

I have an HID on my 2006 GSXR 1000 (low and high). I dont really use the high beam and I wish I wouldnt have bought the high beam kit.

Are there any ways to get white colored or a bit of colored bulb without HID kit, just chaging the bulb...

i believe you could get HIR's but i dont where from.. or you could just use halogen bulbs but they die out EXTREMELY fast so youll be changing it out quite frequently.. i also heard of people using sylvania bulbs, but still die out faster than HID's i believe..also how everyone says 8000k looks ugly.. its your car man and you can do whatever you want with it. i have 6000k and i dont really see the hint of blue but im happy with them..

Yes you need 2 kits.. a PNP kit is a plug n play kit.. which means all you need to do is put the bulb in and mount the ballasts.. your low beam headlights are projector housings.. if you look at your head lights.. notice that your low beams come out of the circle shaped light while your high beams come out from the.. octagon(?) shaped one that looks like it has mirrors in it..your high beam housing is called a reflector housing.. someone correct me if im wrong :) and by saying which one you choose.. you don really choose that.. for our coupes all you need to do is buy the pnp kit and everything should work fine if you install it correctly

Yeah, so dont get us wrong. It is your ride, do what you think looks cool and that you like. I personally(my own opinion, im not trying to attack or insult anyone) find those type of lights horrible.

http://images.google.com/

search "8K HID Honda accord" or replace 8K with what you think will be good.

Do I need to concern about the bulbs' size? like H8, H9....

Which size do I need to choose for low beam, high beam, and fog light?

And which websites offer the best product?

Finally, I really appreciate you guys passion, thanks!

Hi,

Your low beams and fog lights use an H11 bulb meaning that you would need to get 2 x h11 HID kits if you wanted to upgrade both.

I personally do not suggest upgrading the high beams for 2 reasons:

1) HID bulbs take a moment to warm up and reach their full light output. In situations where you need to flash someone and require a quick burst of light your HID high beams will not be very functional.

2) It is strenuous on the components to turn them on/off repeatedly ie: flashing people.
