I have the OEM rims right now but want to buy some used TSX rims and put them on my car, but the problem is the tires on those rims are 215 50 17 and my OEM is 225 50 17... Will it be a problem?

I am going to do the same thing when my tires wearout. R4WD 10-15-2008, 05:49 PM Good article re tire size at link. http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/jk/tire-terminology.php namegoeshere 10-15-2008, 09:08 PM To answer your question... 225/50-17 will fit, no problemo. I currently have used TSX rims on my car so that is where my interest lies. Anyway the guy on the TSX forum does not recommend 225-50-17s, instead he recommends 225-45-17s. I know the tsx comes from factory with 225-45-17s or the majority 215-50-17s. may i add i like the tsx rims on the 7 gen a lot more than tl rims.. |
