I saw 2.96 last night here in Miami. Cars were swarmed all over the gas station. I don't see how people were able to pump gas a leave. The cars were going in every which direction possible. I didn't stop because I figure gas is on its way down.

I am filling up at about $15 less than a month ago so I'm semi happy.

The times ARE hard right now, that's why gasoline prices are so low. Large supply + low demand = low gas prices. People are finally starting to cut back, so demand is lower.

$2.899 for 87'Octane here in Greater Austin as of tonight.

My fill-ups are generally ~17gallons, so it's nice to finally be under the $50 mark for the first time what seems to have been forever. . .

Don't count on gas being cheap for so long

Don't count on gas being cheap for so longAfter the election, back to reality? Colder winter due to global warming, thus more heating-oil needed? Residual effect of 'Ike in the 'gulf? Sliding out of the recession, thus increased demand? U.S. dollar being replaced w/ monopoly money? Hugo Chavez & Ahmedinejad orgy? Putin's anger over being rejected by good & sesky neighbor Palin?

Wha-wa-wah? We needs to knowz!?!
