Another Accord in the fam.....

I scored a new DD yesterday. My Jeep gets about 10 MPG so I have been looking for something else to drive. After 4+ months of looking, here is what I got.......

1986 Accord LXi. Fuel injected 2.0 with 5 speed. 222,300 miles
Full power (windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof, ect) and everything works
interior is in great shape
runs and drives great

It was a one owner. The family I bought it from bought it new in 86 and performed all maint on it. It also had a new clutch and CV joints last year.

Their son "riced" it out a bit so I need to put a quiet muffler on it.

Here is the best part.... I paid $600 for it.

Looks like you got a CAI in addition to the muffler. Looks like a great buy!

Its got a Pace Setter header a full exhaust as well. It just needs a quieter muffler.

Ahhh how I miss our old '86. I'd love to buy another one just like it (baby blue) and "restore" it...haha. I really loved the instrument panel on that gen - lighted up nicely at night, nice simple attractive text, easy to read, and only what you needed, no bullshit. AHHHH I'm so sad now, but nice find, that thing looks excellent for the year/mileage!
