Definitely! Rain had all kinds of minerals and contaminants that will etch your paint if it isn't protected. Keep it waxed ALL the time.

Wax? Only if it's Collinite which will last for months, others last for 3-4 weeks tops. A good sealant topped with Collinite would make a barrier of protection that would hold up very well for quite some time.

FYI Wax breaks down on a molecular level at 90-95 degrees.. yes the paint is still smooth cause the wax is there but as it gets hotter you get less protection....when it breaks down and then it rains it basically washes away.. "Ie" drops of Vegetable oil in a glass of water..... hence why wax only lasts 2 to 4 weeks... ever wonder why a garaged car or the showroom cars can sit for months and the wax is perfect? LMAO

Just don't ever wax in the sunlight.
