That really does look pretty darned slick, I must say. If VW could just infuse some reliability into their cars I would strongly consider one.

notice the manufacture license plate so I think it was on the auto show circuit. Not coming to n. america, sadly. They are worried it will canibalize gti sales.

Hahah this is true, being a former GTI owner i know all about this one unfortunately :paranoid:

The body styling does look pretty slick and I also agree if it comes here it might mess up the new new body style GTI sales .... Also I wonder if the blue from the older one's will make it into the newer models!! Either way white is very nice!! Great video, and am wondering if the new gti will have the AAC modes for driving?

I swore off VW once i got the Accord (but ironically VW and Honda are the only two car brands I've ever owned) ... :dunno:

Unfortunately no. VW claimed that because of the weak dollar, they can't bring it here. It wouldn't be profitable for them if they actually sell them here.
