Hi everybody.
Recently got the SRS light on.
Dealership will charge me 100 dollars just to diagnose the problem.

I am trying to find problem by myself.

To do that i need to short Service Check Connector(SCC), but i cant find it.
In different documents it is saying that it is located at passenger side under glove box.
I was looking there and i cant find it.

May be somebody did the same job or know where it is.

Thanks a lot.

PS:
I will attach the document which describes how to diagnose srs light problem in diy stile.

I know what you think first and SCC is not OBD2 port.

Since we use the laptop, I don't know where the others are found. :dunno: I hunted a few places & the one above is all I came up with.

Or a whole scanner from ebay.....http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkwZobdQ20iiQ20scannerQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZR40Q Q_mdoZ

Hi Princes.
What you show it is an simple ODB2 scanner, but unfortunately it can't read SRS codes :(

To read them there is an special Honda scanner or a self diagnostic.
To turn self diagnostic on i need that SCC P2 port but i cant find it :(

Ok.
Now it is warmer.

This is a MES(Memory Erase Signal) connector, to turn SRS light off.

But before turning it off i prefer to know what was the cause of it.

That is whay i am looking for SCC connector.

Read the PDF file which i attached in the posting it is described there.

I don't think you're gonna find it....it seems to be the "tool" used on the connector I posted.

There's an article in this Service News saying it won't work & shouldn't be done.
