I just picked up a slightly used 04 Accord V-6 with 4600 miles on it. Yes 4,600. It's the tan color with tan leather interior. I've been reading around on here for the past few days as I contemplated my purchase. I like the car a lot and it has good pep. With that kind of mileage on it, I am expecting it to last a long time.

I've already been planning some mods of my own, who doesn't when they get a new car. I'm thinking of getting the OEM front lip and trunk lid spoiler. If anyone has any suggestions of who has the best deals on those, I would really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forums! The mileage on that car is really good! I've had my 8th gen for about 11 months now and have over that mileage already (and I really don't drive that much either)

I hope so. I wasn't really looking for a new car or an Accord for that matter. But this thing has less than 5k on the clock, so how could I pass it up. Plus it was well optioned. It is automatic v6 so I am kinda glad to have an auto again for DD. The only problem is that I have to sell my 02 Civic now.

I'm on the Gulf Coast. Yeah the car definitely has low miles, but I'm sure that will change. I just sold my DD Civic yesterday so I will be putting about 200 work miles a week on it, so I will probably double the mileage in about 6 months. At this point, I'm not even sure the car is broken in. I am glad I found the car, because I really hadn't given much though to an Accord of any type, but it was nicely optioned and well kept, so I jumped on it at around $5,000 below retail.

There was one issue that I had to remedy, and that was where a rat or squirrel had chewed the knock sensor wire. A few hours on Friday night and $7 worth of subharness later, problem fixed.

I detailed the Civic on Saturday to get it ready to sell so I decided to get a couple coats of NXT on the car. It looks really sharp. I'll have to try and get some pics this weekend.

I've already done two "mods" to the car. I removed the pin stripe and front license plate braket. Those two things really needed to be off the car and it looks much better now.

There are a couple of things that I would really like to do in the meantime but I have another car that is my fun car and I really can't afford to be spending big bucks on both. In fact, my other car just got H&R race springs, new ball joints, poly control arm bushings, and poly steering rack bushings. On the Accord I would like to add tinted windows, and ipod adapter, oem front lip (hfp?), and deck lid spoiler. Once I realized that was about $800 worth of stuff right out the box, I decided to shop around first.

PnP HID kit gets my vote as a worthy mod, doesn't cost that much and you will thank yourself while driving at night, my 2005 OEM halogen bulbs were horrible as compared to the headlighs of my last car, a 1996 Integra.

A thicker rear sway bar from the TL is the next inexpensive mod, there are quite a few thread on this topic in the DA forum.
