I've got this rattle coming from directly in front of the steering wheel. It sounds pretty metallic so I'm thinking the VIN plate is loose. Is this possible? Would it be easy to fix?

This seems quite unlikely. It's attached pretty darn well there. Plus fixing it would be difficult because its so hard to reach... I suggest looking for another source:yes:.

Hmm... it could also be the screws in the steering column(the ones that hold the plastic on it). Those rattled for me before; so i just tightened them.
