For about a month now, I noticed that my tranny is making odd sounds at cold starts, and whenever i hit around 2k rpm, the sound will fade in and out, and the makes this odd metalic type of sound... it almost seems like it got louder today, i thought it might be just tranny oil but when the whole engine was at working condition, heated up i had to accelerate to change lanes, and when doing so, when downshifting, the car jerked a little, not really feeling it as it downshifted, and ever since then, i started noticing it more when it changes gears...
I think its got something to do with the torque converter, would this be covered by warranty? I use to downshift a lot to slow down so I didn't have to use the brakes as much, but now i haven't been because i think that it is the problem with making that scary sound.. should I get it fixed asap, or should i wait for getting a 6spd MT and just replace it then, because i do plan on getting a 6spd swap later on...

Take it to the dealership. That's what the warranty is for. That 6-speed swap is going to cost you...
