I know this is short notice, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I posted this with the Prelude club and hopefully there will be a few bites there.

I'm heading out on some random back roads. Anyone up for a cruise?
Today is supposed to be near 80 and this weekend should be good other than cloudy skies earlier on Saturday. This might be one of the last really nice days to drive. And with Thanksgiving a few weeks away . . . one of the last free weekends before holiday obligations pin us down. Plus gas is dirt cheap again. I just paid $2.17 at the Shell station on New Bern. WOOT!
My initial thoughts are to drive towards Hobgood. Never been. There's a sign I drive by all the time that says "Hobgood 60". I figure there are Hobbits and Leprechauns there so I'm going to check it out.
If that's too much, we can try a more northernly direction and stay closer to Raleigh and head towards Falls Lake / Creedmor.
I'm shooting for late Sunday morning ( Nov 9 08 ) wrap up by very early afternoon. Good time to cruise while the churches are full. Any later than 1:00-2:00 and the Sunday drivers are out and about, literally.
We can work in food before or after if anyone wants to.
Yay? Nay? My 89 SI and I are rolling out regardless. Post up if interested.
