Wasn't sure if this deserved it's own thread or if I should have placed it in the one I started about my 2005 Accord making weird sounds but I figured for those who have manual trans, this might apply to you....then again, maybe not. :D

This the service order that was written up for my car.

Rotation noise while moving slow, under 10 mph noise seems to come from trans area, seems to resonate through the axles to the wheels, noise, however does not occur under normal driving conditions, called tech line was told to poss swap know good components from other car to another, did swap tires/rims from another VEH. Noise still was heard POSS of Trans Gear Noise, which is common for a manual trans, to be heard at times upon low speed, Key off , Engine Off, car moving. CK'D w/Other new some VEH, Trans Noise was also Heard Inside of Trans, Also changed M/T Fluid...Noise seems to be common in Stickshift VEH 05, Accord.

Sounds like it's the Trans/Diff. Not sure if its a problem though. However, it just started happening the other day. Not as loud today. All I can do is wait and see.

if it is trans/diff, and other new identical cars also do it, it may be "characteristic of the product" and never cause you an actual problem. that is good to hear.

Thats what I'm thinking, however, I don't know how true this is.

understandable, it might take some time to discover it. if possible have another dealer check it.
