Hey BK, here's a question for you or anyone that knows. If I hook it up for Short Ram,(meaning) connect the Drycharger & Filtercharger onto the Short Ram charger Tube as in figure # 32 ? would that be the way?
and whats the different between the short & long connection beside taken off front tire.? are their any benifiets to it.

Yes, that would be the way to do it. The difference between the Long and short is: With the long one , it will be near the front air inlet on your bumper and will have access to colder air which produces more HP....The only drawback is that if you live in a very rainy climate, the possibility of injesting water into the engine if the cone filter ever gets submerged. The shorter and safer set up would stay in the engine compartment with hotter air from the engine, but would still be better than the stock intake. That is why I chose the KN Kit. I'll switch it back and forth. In the cooler months it will still get plenty of cold air with the short ram.

Yes, I would use the dry charger, in either configuration. All it is is a water repellent sleeve that goes over the cone filter. Even with the short ram it will help to keep your filter cleaner. Just my thoughts; I know a sleeve on a filter is kind of redundent but it may reduce the frequency of needing to clean the filter. When I say cleaning.....I mean using another product from kn which I believe you have to re-saturate it with oil if i'm not mistaken, I'm not sure on that. Maybe someone else can help us out here. But with a new filter you shoudn't have to worry about that for awhile.

Seems to be performing well, although it performed well w/out it too. The most noticable difference is the growl at WOT. I've only ran a tank of gas since I put it on.....Milage is probably worse because I enjoy producing that growl hehehe. I doubt I'd be able to notice a marginal HP increase on a 240 hp car, but i'm sure it picked up a few. The kit I ordered off of Ebay was new but the polished tubes had light scratches all over them! I re-polished the tubes before install. I have it configured with the long tube right now (getting air from the fog light vent.)

I don't know where the +6mpg claim came from but it is simply untrue. Don't fall for that one!

I am keeping my accord stock, but screw paying over $100 for a filter even with a tube. I bought this one for $6 for my Merkur.
