I want to install XM into our '95 Odyssey. The stereo is the stock unit, AM/FM Cassette with a 6 disc changer (under the seat).

Is there a simple way to do this? Can it run through an existing FM station? I already have a subscription in my '05 Accord.

OR,

Does anyone know of a head unit that would replace the stock unit that would be XM ready and not break the bank? I wouldn't need the cassette option.

Thank you.

There are a few ways that you can do it.

You can run it through an FM channel. I'm not exactly sure on how to do that, but I do know that there are instructions on how to in the information that comes with the vehicle kit.

Personally, I have mine running through the cassette player. I just have one of those adapter tapes that allows you to plug your cd player or mp3 player into your system. With that tape, you just plug the little jack into the docking station, and there you go!

I used the tape method for two reasons, number one, I could keep my stock head-unit, and two, it is supposed to sound better.

Either way should be really easy to set up. The FM method might just be a little more complicated.
