Hello everyone, I got my custom made RSB for the 08 accord today. Is a 17mm hollow RSB made by my friend back east. There is truly a night and day differences with 17mm vs 14mm RSB. The RSB is painted black and looks very plain. I didnt care too much for looks, I care for functionality of the RSB. Here is pictures for people to see.

What is the title of the thread supposed to mean? Are you saying that your car is the first 8th gen Accord with an RSB?

how hard is to replace the rear sway bar? Can anybody do it himself or you need some more hands to help? Thanks!

I can't wait for thicker solder bars that are adjustable, but I feel it'll take a while just like all the other goodies that haven't been released yet. :(

You sure your friend didn't go to a Acura dealer to get that bar and bushing from 2009 TSX ? :D

This RSB is for 08 v6 sedan and i would imgine it be the same for the i4 sedan. I can say for the coupe yet. Maybe once I do some testing fitting for a coupe, I will let everyone know.

No one has confrim if it will work. So I highly doubt it.

I am pretty sure it will work, the 2009 TSX suspension is based on honda Accord as far as sub frame lower control arms etc.
If you check parts its like 85% same parts as honda.

So I have to ask this as from pics it looks nicely bent, how did he bend tubing like that and did he use high carbon steel and temper it too.
Seems like a lot of work, but job "looks" good.

I am curious as i used to run machine shop and just visualizing making that is not so simple when bars are under 100$ from OEM, or 150 from aftermarket.

i wonder if the fr and rr sway bars from the 09 tl will fit like it did on the last gen accord and tl....that would be pretty cool if it would work
