I have a 2000 accord and I was thinking about hooking up sirus radio throught my honda radio/cd player....or just get a new cd player in general and hook sirus up throught it.... what would you recommend?? (the price difference is very big... about $150 for just the sirus and $420 for sirus and cd player)

I have considered doing something like that, too.
Do you already have the Sirius receiver? If not, I think you might find a head unit with Sirius capability built in for $200 or less (Circuit City, Best Buy, crutchfield.com). I have seen one with XM Radio for less than $150.
Another thought - I have removed the radio on my 2000 Accord a couple of times, and it is very easy to do. I think there may be a supplemental connection on the back to allow attachment of a factory CD changer. If you can get the right connector (Crutchfield?), you might be able to run the Sirius receiver off of your existing factory radio.
I haven't looked closely at mine yet, but those were my initial thoughts, anyway. :dunno:

you're right about running the sirus off of the existing radio... my friend (who owns a audio shop) said that we could do it that way...and everything would be hidden.. i'm thinking that i'm going that route... and just keep my honda cd player.. its Honda...i mean come on.. its good stuff.. :) hhahaha..
