Another issue that has cropped up with my sister's car is that when she turns the steering wheel around 45 degrees to the right it makes this clicking/popping sound in the steering wheel. Move the wheel to the left and then to the right and you can replicate the noise. The problem is that it makes it when it is cold and the plastic warms up. But what is odd is that it goes away and comes back sporadically while the cabin is warm. The dealer couldn't do much to replicate the issue since it was about 65 degrees here yesterday. Anybody else having this issue?

This is much louder than the clicking sound you get when using the turn signal.

I'm finding with more and more stuff being added to steering wheels more and more folks are complaining about "noises".

I hope your dealer can find and fix the problem. Good luck.

It's like my local dealership hasn't seen these obvious known issues and they are a volume dealership too. I get the deer in headlights look from them. Now I have to take it to them when it happens again just to prove it to them.

Thanks for the link Spike
