I think that turns people off from this site, just see sections for 7-8th Gens and nothing else. But I agree with other people, why have a banner with ALL gens, when only 7-8th Gen have actual sections, everything else is piled into another place. Officially I don't like 8th Gens. So why do I want to sift through 8th Gen stuff for my Gen...

Offer to pay the site owner for the new section.

I say take all the instructions, put that in one section.
Say Accord Manuals... Cleans up all that.
Makes room for well other Gen's

I own a 6th gen... and honestly I don't really care. I've been and belong to 6th gen sites... none really do much for me. What attracted me to this forum was that it wasn't all about "VTEK!" and where can I get those carbon fiber tails, and SLAM IT! wasn't the response to a stock Accord. It was just a group of people who enjoyed their accords. Sure, there were people who modified their cars, but most were done tastefully and with OEM parts from other hondas/acuras.

These days, I feel like we've turned into those forums I don't like, the ones that are all about the "VTEK and the Vtech" yo! :lmao:... I see so many beautiful new Accords raped and left covered in the tackiest modifications on such a nice car. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with mods, some people LOVE it... when I see a modded Honda Accord... I just want to roll my eyes at the fact that someone has turned a family sedan into a 'race car' of sorts. It just looks stupid to me. Same feeling goes for coupes too really, I mean it's an Accord, not a Mustang. The best part is seeing these fast and furious looking cars and finding out there's a stock 4 cyl under the hood with a CAI and an Automatic to boot!

I may have to break off from DA soon... it's not what it used to be, and I know that it's not just me who feels that way. I've had several conversations with fellow members who have been here just as long or longer than I, and many have expressed the same feelings.

Regardless, it would be nice to see some more sections I suppose, I just hope they're filled with helpful questions and advice; not a bunch of people who are in the market to hotrod an accord.

so what my car is f'in modded, its still a f'in accord. Hence Drive accord, but if you don't want my type here, then CYA.... I hate honda accessories, Cheap Over Priced and ugly. I'm not a ricer, its one of the more nicer Accord around here...........Can build a better suspension system then HPF or anything a factory dealership will give. So thats what I did, got better tires then dealership will give me. But WOW Im a ricer, my car is a hot rod....I thought this was love of Accords, but I guess not...It would been nice to have a section so I could get some info I need for my car, but I gotta dig through crap load of Gen 7 and 8 stuff...

I'm not super Accordlover, I know your post is against me, well have fun...

I picked the sedan because no body else run with it, so I did....

RobertMcc - check out 6thgenaccord.com. It's heavy on modding 6thGens, so it might be a better fit for you.

i honestly don't think that accordlover was singling you out per se... he was talking more about the influx of newbies that all they want to do here is bicker with the masses / flame, race on public roads, and do stupid shit.

another point that i would like to bring up: can we see pics of your car, to see what you have done so far? :wave:

and back to your orig post: i have had a 4th gen accord since 2000, joined here in fall 2004, and have had a 1999 accord since late 2007. there has never been a dedicated section for either car, and i'm ok with that, as are others. as the point was made, we do not pay the bills or run the site here; wards does.

i will say this tho: altho there is not a dedicated section for every generatio of accord, whenever i have a problem, fredsvt, i1, princess, benjiboy, and others that i have failed to mention here, have given me a world of advice here. and for that, i thank them.... :grouphug:

You def should check out www.6thgenaccord.com, they are much more tuner oriented, by far, than us. I'm not shooing you away, just letting you know what's there. Don't take it personally.

Was a joke, They were my OLD 15 " steelies with my stock bald tires (195/65R15), I got a set of 14's with winter tires that are black, Then my aftermarket 17's
