I searched and am under the impression that a 2001 LX W/abs and a single cd player does not have an anti theft radio code. Before I do any leg work for my battery change, could I get a confirmation on this? Thanks.

I don't think it has one, my mom's Odyssey LX doesn't have one. Does the radio have a blinking red light on it?

Unless the face of the radio says anti-theft on it. There is no code. I believe only SE and EX models of that year have codes.

I concur with the others on the LX model. I don't have ABS but my 01LX hasn't had an issue with the stock CD/AM/FM thru several battery disconnects.

You will have an idle and tranny relearn to live thru though.
