Door Question

I installed speakers in my doors last night. I got everything back together and now my driver's door won't open from the inside. What did I not hook up?

There are thin metal rods that hook up the door handles, locks, and other related hardware. Its most likely that the rod on the back of the door handle or where it connects on the other end came out. Hopefully the plastic connector didn't break. :paranoid:

Edit: Apparently Honda uses cables, not rods. Same thing tho. Most likely one of the cables is disconnected.

I have done that before. You probably pulled the cable away from where it clips on the back of the door handle where the inner (back side) handle is. Pull the door panel back off and reattach. The end of the cable approximately where it attaches to the door handle has a "sleeve" that attaches to the inner door handle frame. You have to hold the door panel up off the ground near the door frame while you make sure it does not pop back out while installing the door panel. You might need two people to do this. The sleeve clip holds the cable tight against the door handle.

We'll see. I think part 12 and 13 where the cable attaches there might be the culprit. Going to find out shortly. Thanks for the quick responses.

Actually, I think you will find it is in front of part 27 and just behind where it attaches the cable to the inner door handle. It is not a part number shown on here. I cannot get it to attach to my response to show you with an arrow.

Got it. Needed the wife's small hands to get it, actually. The rod that attaches to the handle itself was in, but the cable came out of the bracket on the panel. That make sense to y'all? Thanks Trip for the diagram and you to Carl.
