View Full Version : New to Honda and Drive Accord Forum
scube 12-24-2008, 06:47 AM Just picked up my first Honda. 2008 Accord EXL fully loaded except nav. So far i'm very pleased with the car. The only things i wish the car had are (memory seats, split rear seat, trip computer for gas mileage)
Here are a few pics.

I think my first mod will be 3M clear bra.
RTexasF 12-24-2008, 07:35 AM I like the white, fits right in with the snow eh?

Eh is right! Just came back from clearing off another 12" of snow off my driveway, this is the third dump since mid last week, and it's been cold enough that nothing has melted, so the snowbank on both sides of my driveway is now 5' high.
Glad I have a 7.5HP snowblower!
DrumZ53 12-24-2008, 08:01 AM Nice looking car...Congrats!!!--Welcome to the Forum-

Just picked it up yesterday, but so far i love it.
I've always had GM cars and still do (Montana van and a 93 Corvette), big difference in the build quality and ride with the Accord.
I plan on keeping it for at least 10 years thats why I went with Honda.

09 ACCORD COUPE 12-24-2008, 09:59 AM Congrats on the new ride:banana:
Yeah, the navi comes with a nice trip computer. I use mine a lot. Nice feature. Helps me drive conservatively, esp. when I see the fuel consumption gauge bars going below 20mpg.
Sorry you got all that snow...

I like the Navi, but couldn't justify another $2k. I'll just use my $200 Tom Tom until I replace the HU.
I'll just make sure to keep the ECO light on as much as possible :lmao:

samsonskeg 12-24-2008, 10:34 AM what percent is that window tint?
scube 12-24-2008, 11:38 AM what percent is that window tint?
It's 35% all the way around. The legal limit for the front windows is 35%, I don't like the 2 tone look so i went with 35% on all.

You don't see the dust in the summer but they look like crap in the winter :)

I looked at a car at Mississauga Honda but they seemed like a bunch of idiots.
