Those are some nice shots from the D40. I just got a Canon Rebel. Hope to get some good shots one I learn all the features.

The D40 is awesome! I'm gonna stop by Best Buy and see if they really do have their 55-200mm VR lenses for $150. If they do, my regular 55-200mm lens will be on ebay. Canon Rebel is a great camera too from what I heard. I picked the Nikon is because many people recommended the Nikon over the Canon. Anyways, they both are great cameras.
