So my friends and i decided to drive to Palomar which is a curvy mountain pass for fun. The mist was crazy dense which made it hard to see the turns and the road slippery but we still had fun. Here are the pics.

We left at 4am and got to Palomar at 6am for a couple runs up and down the S grade.

We got to a point where we were above the mist so we parked it and took some shots.

Thanks, it was kinda tough to focus the shots since it was so foggy but it came out okay. Would have been better if we got more sunlight

Awesome scenery and the cars! Did you use any filters for the camera lens? As you've probably read in other thread, I got a D40 as a present and still learning as much as possible without breaking the bank. I'm thinking of getting a filter for the lens but just don't know what I should get.

filters mess up your IQ so i dont use it, it does protect your lens tho but it doesnt help the pictures. Only one i would get is a polarized filter other then that i dont use filters.

What REALLY good pics!!!! Most of these type of posts are the same car from four angles (times 50 pics of the same old shit) and are really boring. This looks like it was fun, nice scenery, nice rides, and some people pics for a change. Well Done! Excellent pictures too. I bow to you sir :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy :notworthy Can you tell I liked it?

yea its a major bike road that is one reason why we went so early to beat the crowd. once morning sun rolls out all the bikers hit that road up hard.
