Bought used in Aug of 08 with 46k miles.

Now has 62k miles. Yes, 16k miles since August.

Trans is original.

Hondacare until 97k or aug 2012.

Warranty items that have been done - 2 front brake caliper pins were missing, causing a click noise. Alternator, serpentine belt and tensioner. Powersteering pump and recall. Trans is abnormally downshifting when you punch it on the freeway according to my dad. May get a new trans soon. Needs new rear brakes attm.

If you're gonna buy a TL, buy a warranty! :)

Good thing is, Acura has loaners. Drives great, trans aside. We knew the trans was going to go out, that's what the warranty was for. The fluid in the trans is also original, and Acura wouldn't change it when my dad asked them to at his 60k service. I would've insisted! I'm getting the brakes and trans fluid done for him next week.

The rear bumper is not orig to the car, and that paint mis-match in the photo is not like that at all in person.

EDIT: I drove the car 120 miles, the trans problem didn't appear to me. Hope it stays away. :dunno:

P.S. - what's good on the TL's plastics galore engine bay?

at least it's got a nice hydaulic assist:) Acura looks very nice.

We already share cars. He will take mine if he's going to do a lot of driving that day. I'm insured on his and he's insured on mine so its all good. :)

I like the TL... but I still feel more at home in my Accord. I'm probably just nuts though.

The TL is the only one that scrapes, and that's only if you're going crazy fast. My dad has already put tire marks in our driveway. :nuts: He's always racing somewhere....

My step-mom's 07 Passat is so high off the ground it has no chance of scraping.:lmao: Feels like an SUV compared to how low the TL sits.

CD2 engine detailer is avalable at Auto Zone, about $5.00 a can. I like the house as well as the cars.....all very nice.

if you are nuts, so am i... i really never cared to drive the TL, other than the V6 and VTEC in it..... i always fel more comfortable in the accords.... :wave:

Yeah, the TL is kinda like a dark hole. I might like it better in tan interior.
