I searched the forums and didn't see anything.. Does ANYONE have any clue where the fuel filter is in the sixth-gen V6(coupe)? My car keeps stalling out, and i'm thinking its either the Fuel Filter or the Fuel Injectors are clogged, but i need to find the filter. Could someone help me out? Thanks :notworthy:thmsup:

If the fuel fiter was clogged you cant start your car then.
Did you have a tune up to your car yet? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter changed. (use OEM stuff on these as in about 5-10k the plugs will have been burnt up so much they cant send the spark between the gaps)
After that if you want to clean your fuel injectors i would say Seafoam does the trick pretty well. but be very careful not to overflow quickly
As for the "...." it was for others to jump in as well as I didnt have my hayes manual right next to me to confirm cause in 4-5 gen they were on the pass side firewall by the canistar as i have changed that in the past.

the fuel filter can become restricted to cause performance issues, like low power, etc. The car can still start and run.
Have the fuel pressure checked before condemning the filter.
I've rarely if ever seen them clog. Even at mileages into the high 200k range.
