View Full Version : Metal or Carbon Fiber Aftermarket Dash Trim recommendations
needforaccord 01-08-2009, 11:08 AM Hello everybody,
I am thinking of installing a taped-on interior dash kit in order to hide mainly the black matte plastic parts around the gearbox and the hand brake.
I am interested in fiberglass finish or some sort of silver-metal look that with match the OEM trim in the car.
If you have installed a similar trim please post any available photos. All relative comments recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

Gosha 01-08-2009, 06:51 PM i am in the same boat as you, i want something to cover just the panel around the shifter and hand break and also the compartment under the radio. i wanted carbon fiber but it looks too tacky, thinking about this marble http://img01.carview.co.jp/cvmaterials//tas/2008/preview_car/honda_access_inspire/21_l.jpg it has some white to it but its still black. still thinking

:lmao: BLAM!
I like the marble also! Better than the aluminum or carbon fiber.
shamutruck 01-09-2009, 05:34 AM I dont like dash kits but that marble does look good. It looks like they refinished the originals, those dont look like stick on panels.
Gosha 01-09-2009, 05:55 AM haha looks like i started something here. there alot of sellers on ebay that sell the kits, just search for accord dash kit.
i think i will go with the marble since its black and doesnt stand out as much but still has that classy look.
icydragon 05-26-2009, 06:07 PM are there certain types of shops that will do this? I think a friend of mine told me detail shops might be willing to one up the sticker kits by doing a perfect fit more oem look. anyone had experience with this? I've checked at a few shops and they were not willing to do so
