Did somebody do some Photoshopping? :)

IMHO, the first 3 images had too much artificial blur/boken, it actually make the car look miniture toy-size like in appearance.

Otherwise I have to say I have never seen a San Mario Red Accord Coupe in person, so I do enjoy the pictures of those who have this unusal colour.

Updated shot of the rear with new LED tails and blacked out lower bumper...

I think next on the list is debadge the V6 and maybe LED reverse lights as these use the stock bulb for the reverse.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b324/blackpearl169/Konig%20Runaways/konigs-straight-on.jpg

The wheel became a temporary hiding spot for my wife's cat Preston lol.

The main reason for me buying new wheels was for weight savings. The Exels I have on now are supposed to be 23lbs, but I think they're probably closer to 24-25lbs. I weighed the new wheel two ways to make sure my scale was accurate. First method was the wheel on the scale; the second method was weighing myself first and then myself holding the wheel. Both came out to be 20.6lbs. Very respectable for an 18x8 cast wheel. And hey, no fat jokes please lol!

i missed this update! wheels lookin' good man.

but man, do those 18s look small on our cars lol, or is it just me. I'm digging the eibach drop too, still haven't decided which route to take. You thinking about getting new struts after or getting coilovers?

Accordian169
04-05-2009, 10:15 PM
Lol yeah they look smaller than the Exels because they have a lip and the Exels had spokes that went all the way to the edge. I knew before I bought them they'd have that effect but after a weekend with them on I've already gotten used to the way they look. It was kinda weird at first though lol.

Not planning on any struts or coilovers yet. The stock struts are holding up just fine and especially now that I lightened up the wheels.

Once, i get my license we should meet up, and make a lil photoshoot.

Thanks! I love the way the new setup handles, but I do kind of miss how nice the Pro-Kits absorbed bumps and imperfections in the road. I guess it's a trade off, but if I could have both the comfort of the Pro-Kits with the handling of the Sportlines, it would be a perfect world lol.

Damn i liked the other rims so much better on your car :(. Ever thought about painting your roof blk?

Lol I hear that a lot, and yeah, I did love the looks of the Exels, but they just weren't very good wheels. Too heavy and always out of balance. Plus I just felt they were too sporty looking for the Accord. Too much like Z06 wheels, and this is definitely not in the catagory of a Z06 lol. The Konigs are lighter, stronger, ride nicer and are more conservative. I can't complain. Plus I love the way they look, so really I'm the only one that counts, right? :hic: I've considered the roof black, but since the whole car needs new paint, I can't see just doing the roof right now. But yeah, it would look cool.

Nice to see a fellow arizona da member.

Just wanted to say i've been admiring your car and your mod list. I just got my 07 Coupe V6 6spd on Monday and I'm loving it. Ordered the front and rear TL-S Sway bars and about to order the Pro-Kit after seeing your car.

Wondering how you like the CompTech Short Shift kit. Been thinking about that as well.

Wow I'm honored to have your first post be in my thread! Cool!

Glad you like my car. You made a wise decision getting the 6spd. You're going to have years of fun rowing through the gears!

I like the short shifter a lot. It was weird at first because it really shortens the throws, but at this point I'm so used to it I don't remember how it was before I put it on. It's a great mod for the $$$.

Good luck with your car and post some picts when you get some!

O.M.G....I've been looking at a lot of the 7th gen coupes around here, and I like yours the best. Very tastefully modded. Can't argue with your choice of rims either, your new ones look just as good as the old ones, if not better!

Wish they had the red coupes and tan interiors in Canada. The only colours I've seen in the 6 speed here are silver/black (most common), sapphire blue pearl, and graphite grey. I don't think they offered anything but the black interior over here. I have never seen the red in person.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that. I've put a lot of hard work into her and I can now finally relax and not think too much about what my next mod is. Ok, that's a lie, but it's better than it was when I first got her lol. I enjoy the red, but honestly I like the red you guys in Canada got better. It's called Redondo Red and it's more of a candy maroon. I guess they're pretty rare since I've only personally seen one on different forum. If I ever get my car repainted that's the color I'm going with. I like the tan interior a lot too. It's a must for living in Arizona. Black leather seats in the Arizona summer is not a good idea. Yeah I know the red you are talking about. I've seen them in the sedan, but never on the coupe around here, although I have heard there are some red coupes around. I'm guessing they are imported or auto/5spd. When I go to the Honda owner site and check the specifications for the 6spd, the only colours available were silver, black, and blue, all with black interior only.

I really wish we could get the tan interiors here because even though it snows like crazy in the winter, summers get really hot too! It just looks soo elegant..
