I recently had a wing installed and afterward the trunk would not pop open when I hit the button. IN addtion, the trunk would not stay open and would slam shut if I didnt hold it up.

The fix: make sure the springs are correctly installed. The red mark on one of the springs has to be on the passenger side of the car. And the yellow one has to be on the drivers side of the car. Both have to be in the front slot of the clip. See the PDF above for detailed instructions.

**Make sure you wear gloves when you take the springs out and put them back in** I would have the dealer do it if possible.

This fixed the problem, not it works perfectly! :wave:

Yep, those springs being in right is definately a plus!! :yes:
