so i wanna get an exhaust chrome tip for my muffler...should i get one that welds on or are there some i can clamp on or something?

OEM one is not secure - if you are going to get one, make sure you weld it on.

you did not have to come in the thread moron...as for the other replies...idk about welding it on cause i just want it for looks....so i could take it off if i needed to

i used the red threadlocker. it seems to be holding pretty well for now.

i dont plan on EVER taking off the exhaust finisher... maybe i should have it welded...

would JB weld work?

If you have to take it to a shop to get it welded, a clamp on one will be cheaper. The tip on my truck is just clamped on and it has stayed on through three years of off-roading.
