Anyone know the Toyota commercials where their car pulls up making a turn and the whole car wobbles. So annoyingg...

seems like several cars in their fleet tend to wobble to and fro when stopping in a turn.

not to forget their ugly too

I love the Toyota Tundra Commercials...but I also love owning a real V8 with serious power.

I laugh at Honda Ridgeline Commercials.

Acura could use more advertising and the Accord isn't advertised much....and I dunno why....

The commercials are cheesy...but so are most of their sedans!

What's this new Venza? Saw one today and I nearly threw up...

Can't be that bad if Honda's coming out with an Accord-based crossover to compete with it.

I think the Venza is sharp so it's all in the eye of the beholder. I would have strongly considered it as opposed to the RAV4 except for the price.

The Venza actually reminds me of a Ford Edge. It's almost identical in the front!

Because Honda/Acura does not need to advertise to sell.

There is also the Honda Fit commercial with big bugs chasing it for some reason.

acura needs more marketing. and toyota must be doing something right since they sold more cars in 08 than GM for the first time in 30 some years.

njdriver04,

Can you elaborate on this line in your sig - "...170K spark plug blew out."

it was a freak thing, I was driving along around thirty miles an hour, and i was at the top of a hill. the tranny downshifted as i braked 98 lx downshifted (auto at the time). Suddenly I heard a clunk clunk noise. I though it was a belt broken and spinning in the engine compartment.

Looked around for a bit and I suddenly noticed that the spark plug was completely out resting in the area where it would normally be screwed in. It that the value cover I forget? Anyways the plastic tube the spark plug connects to the ignition wires was also burnt in half. The engine still turned over, I just decided to sell it on craiglist as is.. Maybe you know what happened

Honda has the best commercials - in the UK. "Cog" is a classic, as is "Cars and Their Voices." The new (US) Civic commercial in which the grooved pavement plays the William Tell Overture when driven over in a Civic is also pretty nifty. Beats most of the "local" guys (like Billy Fucillo).

I'm glad to see American makes getting a little edgy in their commercials. Howie Long busting on the "Manliness" of Tundras (no offense intended, stevencrosbie), the heated steering wheels of Rams, and the F150 "man step" is at least funny. What's next, Teri Hatcher driving a Ridgeline or a Titan?
