Ok...

I recently got a 2001 Accord EX V6 that is fully loaded. I am wanting to put in a system that includes an aftermarket headunit. With this screw with my keyless entry? open for any suggestions.

Thanks

I used the kit from Crutchfield (the map pocket replacement) and it came with a harness that piggy backs off of the exsisting radio.

If you're concerned about the blinking "anti-theft" thing on the radio, it doesn't connect to your keyless entry/alarm. Will have no problems if you swap it out, assuming you use all the correct adapters for the plug/mounting brackets.

I had a 1998 that I swtiched out to a aftermarket head unit. I also highly suggest using a wiring harness (If you don't get from crutchfield your local best buy/circuit city can set ya up) but other then that, you shouldn't have any issues with your keyless. Let me know if you need some help taking apart the dash, its a pain at first but pretty easy once you know where all the screws are!

The only Honda I know of that actually has the keyless linked to the radio is the '97-'99.5 Civics.. All the other Hondas have a separate keyless module. On these Civics you need to tap into the factory wiring and hide the OEM radio in the little space behind the aftermarket radio to keep the keyless/ domelight working.
