That's the one, I ordered the part Hybrid Navi bin, and plan to move my DVD to the front so I can finish my install. Thank you for the install sheet

Quite common over on the Mercedes forums, also done a couple times on the Sienna forum. Kinda neat but don't think I wanna add a Nav into my 6th gen...car might just become a rolling nightmare with all the wiring and problems lol

I sure like having 'em! But I think it was well worth just paying the 2K, or so, extra.....since there's a few more features too. That trip computer alone is almost worth it!! :D

I brought the car used off of ebay, I was looking for a 6 speed with navi, I ended up getting a automatic non-navi. But I got the car for such a steal. I got it for $16k(2003 v6 ex coupe, spoiler, foglights with only 13000 miles). The price difference alone justified me upgrading to navi. Even thought it sounds really complicated, its not that bad. 7-8 wires are spliced into the cars system these wires run to the ECU, and VSS(virtual speed sensor). The rest of the other 20-30 wires connect between the DVD, the navigation and the sub display. Honda did a great job keeping the colors constant thorugh out the car. The power for the navigation gets spliced from the radio cable. I used radioshack wire tappers, I ordered the hybrid Navi bin in the front so that I can finish the install.

There are some people over at the acura forums that are heated because the TL doesn't come with a trip computer in the NAVI

I thought the newest ones did!? :dunno: Ummm, I may have to rethink my upgrade..... :lmao: The Pilot's Nav doesn't either. It's fun to nanner nanner at him when I forget which one we're in..... & go looking for things that don't exsist......

Another thing that gets to them is that they still have a seperate key fob like from the 6th gen. We have the integrated key and they have a seperate key and they paid an extra 10k+. They also complained about having a useless cassette player. Just pretty interesting how a luxury brand car has less then it's inexpensive family member.
