i wanted to know what the difference between retro fit and buying projector headlights off ebay??????.......buying the headlight from ebay would be way cheaper.....retro fit cost almost $800. Who has that kind of money to throw around .... Please let me know

Never buy anything from ebay that has word projector in it, unless its an actual OEM projector.

Whats on eBay is cheap alternative which is worse than stock coupe projectors. Its not a real projector, cheaply and cheese made materials.

Retrofit is when you build a new headlight, you take out say an Acura projector and put that projector into your headlight with some extensive work and fitting. Its expensive because you are getting the real deal, and its all manual labor.

How come no one ever does an Infinity Q45 retrofit? As far as I remember, Infinity Q45 had 7 HID beams in one head light. Am I wrong?

the projector is one of the pricier projectors. plus they are more rare. as for having 7 different beams, that is not entirely true. it is one HID beam with 7 projector lenses that focus the beam on different areas. the result is that you have more even distribution in the beam pattern but you dont have as much clarity in the cutoff line. they are also very big so not as many oem headlights have as much room to allow for the Q projector.

Q45's "Gatling Gun" projector is pure eye-candy (my personal fav' projector), whereas the LS430's projector is more functional for retro-fit applications (as fongaroos mentioned). . .
