Since I've had the car I've noticed that when in reverse I get a buzzing coming from the front wheels. It seems to be pegged to wheel speed, not the engine, so I presume it isn't anything in the drivetrain. I thought something was wrong with the car (and even brought it in-of course they couldn't replicate the problem), but then I road in a friend's gen 8 Civic and noticed the same thing. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Yes, my '06 v6 sedan does the same thing. Not sure what it is, but I have heard it in 4 different Accords at the dealership when I test drove them. I guess it something 'normal' to the car.

You might want to have the brake pads checked, what you are hearing may be the wear indicator noise.

Is it constant when you're in reverse or does it do it for a like a second and then not again? Is it only in reverse? The ABS makes a buzz sound for about a second when first start the car and either put it in Drive or Reverse. This could be what you're hearing.

Its constant and increases with the wheel speed.
