Okay... Please only members with very good car audio knowledge please send feedback. You know who you are...lol.

So anyway i got the Amp in finally from a DA buddy. Here is the thing... The amp (MTX Thunder250) does not have a hp/lp x-over switch. What are all of my options other than purchasing Audio Controls 2-way x-over? I've been foretold already that the signal from the sub channel on the deck is a fullrange signal. Being that im not expecting Hella good bass from the Kicker C8 8in sub im replacing in stock location, any hurt in running it full-range?

What would you all do? I have time as im installing Tues.

Thank you all

full range will prob be fine. the factory sub runs off of that channel and doesnt have a problem. i dont know if the sub channel is full range though. it may be crossed over

As i may have forgot to state, the sub channel is full range. The mtx amp has no low pass/high pass switch so i didnt know if there were blockers to block the high signal like u can to block low signals to tweeters.

Edited:
Those 'blockers' are just capacitors. A simple passive High-pass filter is the Capacitor (bass-blocker) in series with the speaker connections. For a Low-Pass Filter, simply put an Inductor in series. Wc=R/L=Cuttoff Frequency. L=R/Wc=R/(2*∏*Hz). Wc is in rad/sec so to change to Hz multiply by 2∏. So for 200Hz cutoff, you would need a 3.18µH inductor. Just be sure to get one that can handle about 5Amps if you're running 100W-RMS.
