anyone ever heard of or used something like this? If so what were the results?

I think this is also commonly refered to as a grounding kit or a voltage stabilizer. Friend has the equipment on his EVO VIII to measure its effect and says it does what it claims. However, that doesn't amount to much. Get like 1MPG better mileage, smoother/faster/better response, but not worth the $300 he paid for it. He did not say whether it produced more or less power so I'd assume that output stayed the same, otherwise he would have said something.

I've searched for reviews on this with no results. Anyone find any?

Hot InaZma ECO (http://www.sun-auto.co.jp/pro_inazma_eco.htm)

I have the above installed in my 04 L4 EX Sedan... the response was better at first when I installed it... haven't seen any change in MPG yet... I've also got a DIY grounding kit (again, it was good the first few weeks after install)...

but IMO, the performance does degrade over time... I think somehow the computer is compensating for the change in voltage... or maybe I need to upgrade my sparkplug coils... :dunno:
and an oil change would be nice right abt now! heheheh...

Voltage does not change, simply stabilizes.

yeah.. sorry.. i should have worded it differently...

the Vp-p decreases, and perhaps the sensors sensitivity has to work @ a finer resolution...

i.e. if the range used to be 0 - 14 V, and went down to 0 - 12 V... and say a signal @ 11V +/- 0.5V is the threshold for one of the sensors, by decreasing that range... maybe it will have to change the threshold to 11 +/- 0.25???

electrical is not my thing... I am a physicist! lol... appreciate the correction tho!

Not my thing either - still have no idea how it works. Just telling you what my friend told me after he installed it on his Lancer Evo :notworthy

Why bother with the Evo? Mitsubishi is only going to stalk you and make your life miserable.

Weapon R is an okay manufacturer, I'm not quite sure of their quality.
