hey, im geting fog lights on my 07 accord 2dr and i want 12000W bulbs...is there a conversion kit i need, or just the light bulb itself?

First off I think you mean 12000K bulbs not 12000W because that would be insane lol and yes you will prolly need an HID kit to get that color. I dont know of any halogen bulbs that will put out a dark blue/purple color that your wanting with the 12000K

yeah if you're looking at 12k bulbs you'll need an HID conversion kit, which consists of a ballast and then the bulb itself. These then just plug into your original plug

They have bluish halogen bulbs for the fog lights. Dont know the exact name just do some searching and youll find some.

my WHITE 6000K HID for headlights and then 12000K (sorry for W) purple fog lights would look BAD ASS!!! but i might go 10000 just to be safe cuz my windows are well illegal with 30% in front and 5% on top of 15% in back...

IMHO I think that a whole HID kit is too much for fog lights unless you can get them for cheap. Thats just my opinion though. I think that 6000K headlights with 8000K fogs would look good and also switched around too.

ya, but i LOVE my headlights and i just got my car back after some slut hit it...so i am falling in love with them all over again. 8000 might look good, ill photoshop that shit and see what i like. haha, no idea.

Are you getting aftermarkets or retrofits. Personally I like the look of the after market ones just dont go with ones with 2 halos and LED's. Yeah I think that the 8000K would look sweet in the fogs.

$300... Im finding them for like $150. I say not the 2 halos one and LED's because Ive heard that they burn out fairly easy. I like these.....

But again its all preference so if you like the 2 halos who the hell am I to tell you other wise. Just wanted to warn you of the pitfalls Ive heard some people have had but then again Im sure others have had no problem.

The ones I posted are just like the last ones essentially just without the Amber reflectors. I do like the first one you posted but like I said I would just be wary of them failing thats all.

that means philips ultinon are for off road use, a reason they arent sold in the US

10k + is dangerous because blue light + our eyes is a no no
and 12k+ you get into the UV range (we arent very sensitive to UV light lol)

Doesnt it matter where you live because I asked a buddy thats a cop and he said that naything over 8000K is illegal. Who knows very rarely they will pull you over for it unless they are bored or think there might be something worse going on with you (drunk, etc.)
