I dont know of any halogen bulbs that will put out a dark blue/purple color that your wanting with the 12000K pozerpholife 02-26-2009, 12:19 PM yeah if you're looking at 12k bulbs you'll need an HID conversion kit, which consists of a ballast and then the bulb itself. These then just plug into your original plug LFSoccer2k6 02-26-2009, 07:02 PM im pretty sure anything above 10000K is illegal SilverHonda2007 02-26-2009, 07:20 PM Do they have a bluish bulb for the fog lights instead of getting the hid kit? 03Accord EX-L 02-26-2009, 07:30 PM Do they have a bluish bulb for the fog lights instead of getting the hid kit? They have bluish halogen bulbs for the fog lights. Dont know the exact name just do some searching and youll find some. Yeah I think your right anything over 10000K is illegal. 12000K is actually like a purple. Crageyman 02-26-2009, 08:03 PM im pretty sure anything above 10000K is illegal ya, i think it is...but it would look soooooo SIICKKK!! my WHITE 6000K HID for headlights and then 12000K (sorry for W) purple fog lights would look BAD ASS!!! but i might go 10000 just to be safe cuz my windows are well illegal with 30% in front and 5% on top of 15% in back... ugh...what to do? 03Accord EX-L 02-26-2009, 08:07 PM IMHO I think that a whole HID kit is too much for fog lights unless you can get them for cheap. Thats just my opinion though. I think that 6000K headlights with 8000K fogs would look good and also switched around too. I think that 6000K headlights with 8000K fogs would look good and also switched around too. ya, but i LOVE my headlights and i just got my car back after some slut hit it...so i am falling in love with them all over again. 8000 might look good, ill photoshop that shit and see what i like. haha, no idea. im getting projectors in about a month, so that will look even better!! 03Accord EX-L 02-26-2009, 08:19 PM ya, but i LOVE my headlights and i just got my car back after some slut hit it...so i am falling in love with them all over again. 8000 might look good, ill photoshop that shit and see what i like. haha, no idea. im getting projectors in about a month, so that will look even better!! Are you getting aftermarkets or retrofits. Personally I like the look of the after market ones just dont go with ones with 2 halos and LED's. Yeah I think that the 8000K would look sweet in the fogs. Crageyman 02-26-2009, 08:30 PM Are you getting aftermarkets or retrofits. Personally I like the look of the after market ones just dont go with ones with 2 halos and LED's. Yeah I think that the 8000K would look sweet in the fogs. why not the 2 halos and LED's? i want after markets for sure they run like $300. so im down! 03Accord EX-L 02-26-2009, 09:13 PM $300... Im finding them for like $150. I say not the 2 halos one and LED's because Ive heard that they burn out fairly easy. I like these..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__03-04-05-HONDA-ACCORD-HALO-BLACK-PROJECTOR-HEAD-LIGHTS_W0QQitemZ110355432750QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ20 Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewI temQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=it em110355432750&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1171|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 But again its all preference so if you like the 2 halos who the hell am I to tell you other wise. Just wanted to warn you of the pitfalls Ive heard some people have had but then again Im sure others have had no problem. Crageyman 02-26-2009, 09:17 PM $300... Im finding them for like $150. I do like the first one you posted but like I said I would just be wary of them failing thats all. karma 02-27-2009, 06:13 AM [QUOTE=LFSoccer2k6;371790]im pretty sure anything above 10000K is illegal[/QUOT anything over 13k is illegal mktng 02-27-2009, 06:41 AM heard anything over 8000k isnt good. 10000k bulbs + fade out? if i got hids and hid fogs i'll be 8000k for both for meee warmongering 02-27-2009, 06:56 AM hid in fogs is a bad idea, too much glare and defeats purpose of having fogs i would suggest getting ultra stars, piaas (with a harness) or noykas warmongering 02-27-2009, 06:57 AM They have bluish halogen bulbs for the fog lights. Yeah I think your right anything over 10000K is illegal. 12000K is actually like a purple. close anything over 13k is illegal LoL? anything over 4300k is illegal (but this goes unchecked...) that means philips ultinon are for off road use, a reason they arent sold in the US 10k + is dangerous because blue light + our eyes is a no no and 12k+ you get into the UV range (we arent very sensitive to UV light lol) 03Accord EX-L 02-27-2009, 10:07 AM Doesnt it matter where you live because I asked a buddy thats a cop and he said that naything over 8000K is illegal. Who knows very rarely they will pull you over for it unless they are bored or think there might be something worse going on with you (drunk, etc.) SilverHonda2007 02-27-2009, 04:21 PM hid in fogs is a bad idea, too much glare and defeats purpose of having fogs i would suggest getting ultra stars, piaas (with a harness) or noykasThe have a bluish ultra star bulb for honda accord coupes 2dr 06-07?
