Kudos on the endeavor!

Was this a D.I.Y. project & what other OEM HID components did you acquire (ie. DS2 bulbs/ballasts, etc')?
TSX Projectors blended to a stock headlamp assembly. Almost perfect cutoff. lol...Why almost? The TSX has a good lens, no? I always get the more popular retro-fit component combo's mixed up (ie. TSX, S2000, FX, etc'). . .

I'm really hoping for a mid-model change/fresh for the 8th gen' Accord to feature OEM/stock projector headlights (plausible), if not proper HID's (doubtful). . .

Till then, it'll be the high-quality white bulbs or HIR's for me... :D

Gatling Gun Shrouds from retrofit source.

Did it myself. TSX projectors, new Phillips D2S bulbs from ebay. Got two phillips OEM balasts. (They were expensive) :) I used the cheap phillips wanna be balast first but there was a clear difference between the intensity of the light and how they power up.

Have driven on these for two weeks now. I love it. Lot brighter and nicer looking than the OEM.

Looks amazing!!!!

I would get rid of the bra though... i've been in the business for years and all those things do is scratch the $h1T out of the paint where the seam meets the paint on the car...

looks good dude.

almost possibly because his cutoff may not be perfectly aligned. im guessing. could be over-rotated, under-rotated. tsx proj. perform above average so yeah they have good lenses. i believe the earlier 1st gen tsx's had clear lenses(so prob. better) and the later 1st gen changed to fresnel.

time for some wall shots!

can you post some cutoff pics?? and how hard was the project? I'm thinking of doing a DIY this time, but if not, maybe you can do it for me for a good price?? haha

I actually like the bra on there...unless you have a front lip. I never liked the front of the accord, but the lip fixes that by miles, and so does that bra.

^you mean the front end looks good becuz the bra hides it?

It hides it in a good way. Keep in mind it's just IMO. The front lip was one of the first things I added to my car.

I did kill the bra. lol The reason why I had it on was because it covers the edges of the headlight assym from water splashing. The glue only sat for 12 hours before I installed it in the car and I didn't want water to splash the glue. Atleast cover it to a certain point. Covers it from 2 sides. It was already set but just a precausion.

I didn't take any pictures of the back when I was doing em. Now it's almost impossible to take a good picture unless I undo the bumper again:) I used the existing rubber weather covers for the tsx projectors. I used a silicone glue from Home Depot. I have driven in lots of rain and let it sit outside with the 12" of snow we got in NJ. I see no condensation. So I guess it's good news.:)

HCF- The Projectors, Shrouds, balasts, bulbs and the wire harness was about $400.00. The bulbs were used (That's what the website said) and the ballasts were a phillips wannabe. Wasn't a phillips original. So I bought new phillips original bulbs and ballasts from Ebay. Then I bought 2 new headlight assemblies from Ebay. That was about $130. I think all in all, I probably spent about a grand. The OEM phillips were not cheap. There is a clear difference between the wannabe and the OEM. I kept the others as spairs.

Bluesolara- It wasn't hard. Time consuming. Hardest part is to align the projector in the lense. I did use the same adjusters that were in the OEM headlight assembly. I wanted an OEM look with brighter light output. Daytime with the lights off, most people don't even notice it. But that's kinda what I wanted. A sleeper headlight:thumbsup: I drive 104miles a day + about 1200 miles to canada once a month. The headlights make a huge difference.

I will get a cut off shot as soon as I get a chance.
Today I turned 80K.

Thanks guys!

Beautiful retro! I think that shroud fit perfect without adjustment or cutting to fit in the reflector right? I have to cut my shroud (E46 replica) to get it fit in there.
