Hi:
First Post (I did search so be kind, please :))
I am thinking about installing the IPOD adapter in my 2009 Sedan V6 EXL with nav. (too many Nuvi's get stolen here :naughty:). I have been reading up on the procedure(s) and I see that one of them says to be sure that you have your Radio anti-theft code handy before you start work.
Well, I just picked up my car yesterday and I admit that I haven't yet read all 6000 ( or so ) pages of literature that came with the car, but, where should I look for this code? Is it in the pile of stuff that I get from the dealer? Is there some "backdoor" key squence to get it up on the screen?
I don't want to have to schedule a service appointment to have some guy spend 10 secs punching in a number.
OBTW this is my second Honda Accord (I had a 1976 Accord many years ago 3- door hatchback) And this one is even better than that little guy! The V-6 has a lot of stones! the hands free is really cool to use in traffic dialing up and down the heat talking on phone etc. It does seem a little wierd that they don't offer a standard I-Pod interface (yes the dealer pitched $350.00 installed unit... I can do it in 2 hours from what I see on this forum)
Thanks in advance, and IMHO this forum is going to save me a lot of hassles!
The members have a lot of good Ideas, I have been lurking and I hope to contribute in future.
