Im running 235/45/18 Michelin Pilots on my 7th Gen! No rubbing, no issues.....great tire =)

I was given the opinion by many to go with 45s instead of the 40 series tires..........various reasons, including greater possibility of bending the edge of your rim with even SMALL postholes, driveways or entr..........and the ride is a bit rougher. Its up to you though.

PS. I love Michelins, Canadian.......always had great luck with em.

So do you think I run a high risk of bending my rims if I have 40s?

Just have to be real careful. You will have less sidewall with 40's. The streets down here SUCK, so I didnt want to chance it. Went with 45s to give me a bit more cushion on turn ins.

Ya I think I'm gonna go for 235/45/18 kuhmos. With some OZ ultraleggers. Ya Minnesota roads can be absolutaly brutal so I'm gonna stick with 45 like you guys said. How do you like 225s lebomb ? Do you think they are sticky enough over stock? I just felt like a littlewider might help more

I like em........ on a smaller sedan, I think 225 are sufficient. I have a photo in the gallery and also the wheels/tires section that you can take a look at.
