: Name your favourite mods or accessories
jintegra 06-17-2005, 05:59 PM Just wondering what your favourite mods or accessories are. Here's mine:
1) 17mm TL sway bar : this has to be the most rewarding mod I've done! It's changed the feel of the car so much I could hardly believe it!
2) Silver shift knob : it's a little cosmetic thing, but I smile everytime I see it! :D
geni01 06-17-2005, 06:44 PM 1. HFP & TL sway bar - totally change the handling of the car for the better.
2. 2 full sets of wheels/tires (so far!) - If I get tired of looking at one set, I just change to the other set. Also knowing that the newest set of wheels/tires could be used on my wife's CRV.
3. Brushed Aluminum Interior Trim Kit - makes the interior more complete.
stiller fan 06-17-2005, 09:42 PM 1. rain-x :lmao:
2. bridgestone blizzaks in the winter....
3. pioneer in dash cd player

my1staccord 06-23-2005, 06:50 AM 1.) DC Sports CAI - love the sound
2.) 20 mm sway
3.) Alpine HU, 4 polk speakers, 2 amps, 2 jbl subs, and 20 band EQ
4.) Deck lid Spoiler finishes the look
5.) Blue LED ambiant light over shifter
6.) Front tower strut bar - didnt feel too much with it
jintegra 06-23-2005, 06:56 AM Handa Accessories sells it for about $41 here (http://www.handa-accessories.com/accint03.html), but once I factor in the conversion to $Cdn, shipping & customs I estimate it'll come to ~$75Cdn. I've looked at aftermarket ones as well but didn't really like them too much.
jintegra 06-23-2005, 07:01 AM 4.) Deck lid Spoiler finishes the look
I'd love to have a decklid spoiler too, but budget was axed by CFO (aka DW) :(

I hear ya. I wouldnt have one except that my GF did it for a birthday present for me. I went in to have an oil change and when I went to get the car the spoiler was on it. She called tehm and set it all up behind my back with out me guessing!!

That is a good GF! I wonder what would happen if you said you changed your mind? Hehehe! :lmao:
Anyway, favorite mods (only mods) :
1) 20mm TL rear sway
2) Cargo Net
3) Front Lip Spoiler
4) Fog lights
my1staccord 06-23-2005, 09:13 AM She did know that I wanted a spoiler but she didnt know that I really wanted the other one. Turns out that I like this one better on a 4 door. Maybe she knows me better then I do!!!
RTexasF 06-27-2005, 05:07 AM Neuspeed short shift kit is my favorite although the 6 speed tower strut brace made a big difference also.
dougm 06-27-2005, 09:20 AM Guess I'll join in. In order from most favorite to least (so far):
Auto lock module
Auto dim mirror
Fog lights
White ambient light over center console
Dark tinted windows
Rear Spoiler
Trunk tray
Mud guards
Also, the Neuspeed short shift kit is in the mail. I'm very anxious to get it in. I almost ordered the rear sway bar, but I still can't decide which one I want - leaning toward 17mm with my I4. Final 2 mods will be brushed aluminum sills and wood dash trim kit. Then I'll save up and maybe add Navi next year or the year after.

won't be a very good one anymore.... or a good ex-g/f... :paranoid:
digitalmethods 07-27-2005, 05:59 AM My favorite mod on all of my cars is modding the headlights. I black them all out. Just bake, pull apart then paint what you want. Then bake again and seal. I do it to everything I own.

ezshift5 08-15-2005, 07:30 AM ...kick the octane up a notch or two...
..an easy mod...and watch the fuel efficiency on a long freeway drive....
..with that sixth gear deep overdrive....results can be pretty satisfying.....
best, ez

04blkpearlcoupe 10-17-2005, 10:12 AM My favorite mods, assuming that money is no object:
- TSX head (K24A2), hello to true VTEC and 40 more hp.
- Comptech Ice Box (not yet available for our cars)
- DC Sports 4-2-1 header
- DC Sports TCS exhaust (copy of Mugen's dual-canister design that successfully preserves low-end torque)
- Weld Racing 8lb. magnesium alloy wheels
- 75 shot direct-port-injection nitrous system
- Ron Jon urethane body kit (available in 2006)
The idea is to have a car that can run 14's AND still gets the mileage of an I4
SSMV6 10-17-2005, 11:17 AM No! Not the DC Sports TCS! That thing is a Mugen wannabe. It has two exhaust canisters vs Mugen's one. It's louder than the Mugen. You can't say "JDM". :D You do get a little gain, but the sound is so tinny and raspy that it doesn't make your car sound substantial. Mugen Twin Loop all the way..... assuming Mugen ever gets around to making one for the Accord....!
stiller fan 10-17-2005, 11:31 AM You like the Bridgestones Blizzaks that much?
PK
yes........ they are very nice to have in the wniter travelling to and from pit..... however, i am going to try some green diamonds and will be making occasional updates on them this winter....
RTexasF 10-17-2005, 11:39 AM Hopefully I can add the SS exhaust header to the favorites list soon. It's due to deliver tomorrow.........

Please post up some pics when its done, or maybe even during the install if you can. :notworthy
RTexasF 10-17-2005, 04:51 PM I doubt that I'll do it during the install. Maybe a shot or two after.......if you can see it!

yea it is pretty hidden back there. I'm just curious to see how different it is compared to the stock manifold.

darkriver4362 01-31-2006, 07:51 AM Favorite mod I have seen/rode with??
H22, Built, Turbo @ 17psi, with a 75 shot of nitrous, in a 2001 coupe. Did not have hampsters running the motor, it had demons in there somewhere.
My favorite personal mod?
DC-S 4-2-1 Headers, they look nice, and give you a nice bump in power between 3500 rpm's and redline.....plus gave me 1-2mpg lol:)
Stiller did you bump this for me? lol
stiller fan 01-31-2006, 11:49 AM
ypsibird 02-08-2006, 04:32 PM Turned aluminum door locks. It's a small thing (literally), but it really dresses up a black leather interior.
Actually the 17mm sway bar and Neuspeed short shifter are better, but they have already been listed!
