I saved up the funds and pretty much ready to buy Just 4 questions...

1) Should I go with the Dunlop Tires or Falkens? I think size-wize the dunlops are 235 and the falkins are 245. Im going to be driving mostly in the summer and rain. Just want the better tire and if the extra $200 for the dunlop is justified.

2) Is there a better deal on this kind of wheel anywhere else I am not aware of? I checked craigslist, discount tire depot, tirerack and a couple other websites, but what I mean is that is there anyplace I can get wheels and tires for under $1000 that I am not aware of?

3) and is 19's too big? I've seen 18's and think i would like to go a little bigger, but we have potholes here like a buttload of them, I try to swerve past them but it hard not to hit a few minor ones. Am I going to be seeing a lot of flat tires?

4) Is there any coupon code or something for the website i can use

Thanks guys, all input is greatly appreciated!

NOOO - 19's are the farthest from TOO BIG! You should probably go to 20's, but if that's not your thing we understand... please don't go smaller than 19s! A year or two ago I understand 18's being fine, but it isn't anymore!! :naughty::thmsup:

haha no seriously best of luck (but go for 20's and please show them off to me!)

P.S. Those rims are nice, but kinda boring...if you aren't getting a deal on them keep lookin!

I had a set just like these on my Civic, but they were made by Riax and were called Seca.
Riax is made my American Racing Wheels and you can buy them from Summit Racing for $109.95 each (18 x 7.5)

Personally I dont like the extra holes around the lug nut holes............also, IMHO.......19's and 20's are becoming played out. People keep getting bigger and bigger wheels with very small sidewall tires..........starts to look like dunkriders. Ugggghhhhh........ I knew I wasnt going larger than 18's. It all subjective though. If you like 19-20's cool. Have a great evening.

They look great until thefirst really bad hole in the road. Needless to say we need to put together a chart similiar to the one dealing with modifying the suspension. Comparng different sizes 17 vs 18 vs 19 vs 20. Consider handling, steering, ride comfort etc. SSSSOOO what do the larger sizes actually achieve?
