Just found these on local Honda dealer's website. I haven't seen these yet on an accord so not sure how they'll look but here it is. Which style do you guys prefer? The old or new?

View Full Version : New 19" HFP Wheels! next_milenium 03-10-2009, 02:24 PM Just found these on local Honda dealer's website. I haven't seen these yet on an accord so not sure how they'll look but here it is. Which style do you guys prefer? The old or new? Kiribati 03-10-2009, 02:27 PM I haven't seen the old on an 8th gen yet so I'll go with new. bruceleroy 03-10-2009, 02:28 PM those wheel look like the older model accord wheels just in black finish AznX TL 03-10-2009, 02:28 PM those are new? i swear i've seen those on 7th gens for quite some time. next_milenium 03-10-2009, 02:31 PM those are new? i swear i've seen those on 7th gens for quite some time. I know they look similar but I don't think those wheels on 7th gen are 19's. I would love to see these on accords. bruceleroy 03-10-2009, 02:32 PM can you link us to where you found them? damadazkikr 03-10-2009, 02:35 PM the second one is wayyyy better next_milenium 03-10-2009, 02:40 PM can you link us to where you found them? Sure. Here it is: http://www.carmichaelhondastore.com/store/accord08.html Also, if anyone is near Sacramento California area, this dealer (link above) is having a heck of a deal on HFP body kits (pick up price only). If I was into body kits, I would've jumped all over this deal: LXSPimp 03-10-2009, 07:01 PM that looks like the "Silverstar" HFP rims for a 7gen Accord. They were only available in 17". So I guess this is a new HFP rim? :dunno: Osiris_x11 03-10-2009, 07:17 PM The 10-spoke 19" HFP is my choice, easily. Speakin' of which, I better get a set before they get discontinued! morcheez 03-10-2009, 08:42 PM i call typo....maybe they just put the wrong number.... Marc08EX 03-10-2009, 08:46 PM that looks like the "Silverstar" HFP rims for a 7gen Accord. They were only available in 17". So I guess this is a new HFP rim? :dunno: He got it right! It's called silverstar and it was only available in 17" fitments... And they're saying they're 19s?? hahahah! Marc04LX 03-10-2009, 09:07 PM The 17" Silverstars were called EP-R5s. It appears to me that this is a 19" version. I guess they do look a bit dated, but they are still good looking wheels, and would look good on a 8th gen car. The 10 spoke wheel looks a LOT like the Civic Si wheel from '06-'07. I forget if the were 16" or 17". Whats up with the note: "for 2-door V6 models only"? th3darkmarket 03-11-2009, 04:11 AM i'm slowly liking them more than the 10 spokes.. hope someone sports them sometime soon so I can see what they look like. MSchu 03-11-2009, 04:50 AM Holy Huge Wheel Batman ufmike316 03-11-2009, 04:55 AM I think the honda dealer has those posted in error. Honda's website doesnt list them as available, and i cant find them anywhere to order in the honda parts catalog for the 8th gen coupe (i work for a honda dealership). Dark Shark 03-11-2009, 05:58 AM Not sure what I think of them yet. Either way, I've already invested in the old 19's so that's what I'm sticking with. is1ander 03-11-2009, 09:28 AM 10 spokes = 10 spoke gaps that will need scrubbing when detailing. but the top ones do look kinda like old tl wheels. bruceleroy 03-11-2009, 09:35 AM doesnt seem to match the style of the 8th gen IMO Osiris_x11 03-11-2009, 02:51 PM Holy Huge Wheel BatmanMore like: "Holy-huge-car, Batman!" in regards to the 8th gen' Accord... :D KUNAL 03-11-2009, 05:54 PM the second one is wayyyy better Ditto! HereforInfo 03-12-2009, 12:16 PM I like both. Different styles. Not really comparable IMO |
