I'm thinking about installing a couple amps in the trunk of my 2000 coupe, has anyone done this that knows a good way to get the wires to the trunk? I know you go through the firewall and then down the side by the door, but then how do you get it into the trunk from there?

Pull out the back seat, then run the wires under the rear seat, then under the hinged back rest that folds down, and finally into the trunk.

I ran my power wire through an existing plug in the firewall then center console where I picked up the on/off signal from the aux power plug wire then both wires under the rear carpet and rear seat into the trunk.

so does the carpeting just end under the rear seat, or is there something holding it down? I thought I would have to remove the trim panels where the backseat armrests are, since that appears to be where the stock wiring for the rear deck speakers and stuff goes.

that first picture is kind of a weird angle, I can't really tell what I'm looking at. which way is it facing?

oh i think i see now. wow there was this weird perspective trick where i was seeing the angles wrong. where the light rays bend down the carpet, it looked like it was coming up at me instead of down to the floor. I'm assuming you can just leave the rear seat backrests in, but could you get the bottom part out the door without removing a front seat?

i didnt remove any seats. i just tucked the wire in the panel and run it through to the front through that plastic piece where the door closes.
