Hello,

I'm hearing a faint, but annoying, popping (rubbing?) noise at low (< 5 mph) speeds on a 2005 Accord LX. It sounds like it is coming from the lower, rear part of the car. It occurs after the car has been driver for a while, and is pretty noticeable in parking lots and at stop lights. It occurs with and without the brakes applied. I can hear a similar sound (though not nearly as bad) when I push down on the trunk after the car has been driven for a while.

I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or has any suggestions as to what it could be. The car is in the shop now, but I'd like to give them something to go on if they are unable to reproduce the issue.

Thanks,
Jay
