...if I really 'need' to spend $600 tomorrow on 4 new tires, or keep waiting.

I finally made up my mind (if/when) to go with the Primacy 92H. I have 50K miles on my original tires, apparently front ones are worn more than the rear ones. The first 39 months of my "ownership" the car was leased, so I didn't do any balance/alignment, but now that I own the car it's a different story.

And the local dealer has a special this week, "buy 3/get 1 free" (ends tomorrow), he said the front tires look like the car is out of alignment, so I end up at $600 for 4 new Michelin Primacy 92H, installation, balance and 4 wheel alignment, which I think is a pretty good deal.

The problem is - he told me the rear ones still have probably 12-15K miles on them. You know how it is - had he said "you need 4 new tires" I would not even hesitate for a second, but the notion that I can still pull a year or so on the rear ones, and there I am going to "voluntarily" throw two OK tires and $600 takes night sleep away from me.

So, we'll see which side I will wake up tomorrow morning...

So I put a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4's on our Freestyle last summer, and they've been great tires - ride smooth and handle great. I went with H-rated tires because that's what came on the Freestyle. I thought that the Accords all came with V-rated tires - and while H-rated tires will certainly work fine on your car, you might feel a less precise ride when cornering, as sidewalls tend to be not as stiff in H rated vs V rated. You might want to consider the V-rated if this is a concern.

In terms of all 4 vs only 2, because you're changing tire brand/model and even the speed rating, I'd certainly opt for all 4, especially if you're having an alignment done - always best to have 4 of the same tires when doing that. Just my preference to do 4 vs 2...
